2s Program

In 2021, we welcomed our first students to Ladybug on 4th Place

Our approach is to develop:

1. Child-centered curriculum:

Our Program has a child-centered curriculum, which focuses on developmental needs such as physical, social, and emotional growth. By following the child's interests and natural inclination to explore the environment, the curriculum becomes a more meaningful and enriching experience.

2. Play-based learning:

Play-based learning is highly effective and engaging for children of this age. When designed to promote experiential learning, it can help the child make connections between actions and outcomes, develop problem-solving skills, promote social interactions, and develop language skills.

3. Emotionally supportive environment:

Our 2s program fosters a positive and emotionally supportive environment that meets the child's social and emotional needs. We create an atmosphere in which the children feel safe, secure, and comfortable exploring and expressing themselves.

4. Parent communication:

Daily communication with parents is key to the success of a 2's program. We provide regular updates on the child's progress and give opportunities for a feedback loop. With this communication, families can provide input on the program, and providers can learn more about their needs and needs of the child.

5. Qualified staff:

Our staff working with the 2's program is highly trained and educated in child development. A knowledgeable and experienced teachers can provide a strong academic foundation while nurturing the child's emotional and social development.

Our program offers:

  • Small and intimate class size of 12 students (1:4 ratio)

  • Experienced lead teacher and two assistant teachers

  • Enrichment classes led by teaching artists in of yoga, music, Spanish, and more!

  • Large private backyards for outdoor learning and play

Our approach is to develop the whole child through play-based exploration, the arts, social emotional learning, and community building experiences.
